Quartz powder has a silicon content of over 99.8%, a conversion rate of over 95%, a tetragonal crystal phase, a Mohs hardness of about 6.5, and a density of 2.45


It has a larger surface area, higher porosity, good weather resistance, good precipitation resistance, and good thermal shock resistance.

Excellent optical properties. The refractive index of quartz decreases from 1.55 to 1.48, which is closer to the refractive index of PE, PP, and some resins. The mixed resin appears transparent and does not embellish the color of the pigment itself. Adding other fillers will make the color of the pigment lighter and distorted.


2. High reflectivity. The octahedral structure of quartz helps with light reflection and can replace glass bead reflective paint, which not only enhances slip resistance but also improves the reflectivity of paint.


3. High whiteness, low density, and bright luster. The whiteness of quartzite reaches 95%, and it can be used in coatings and paints as a substitute for titanium dioxide, reducing the required dosage for formulations. It can also be used as a filler for automotive primers and various coatings and paints.


4. Anti corruption, resistant to carving, and resistant to scrubbing.


5. No organic matter purification, extremely low metal content. It can enhance the UV resistance of coatings and has excellent insulation properties, making it suitable for packaging and supplementing electronic products.


6. Excellent thermal shock resistance, when square quartz is heated to 220-240 ℃, it undergoes a certain level of thermal expansion, which precisely compensates for the expansion of epoxy resin, gypsum, and other curing reactions at this temperature, making the casting stable. This feature is particularly suitable for the use of epoxy castables, potting adhesives, and fine forging.
