2. The particle size distribution is different

On the market, there are more silicon powder with the content of 100-200ppm, and the products with the content above 300ppm are relatively poor. Few manufacturers can control 50-80ppm. Therefore, it is very important in mineral processing and impurity removal.

6. Is it modified or activated

Activity and modification have the same meaning. Siloxane is usually used to modify ordinary silicon powder in the market. After modification, the physical properties related to silicone oil will be improved, and the fluidity, oil absorption value and bulk density will change accordingly. Of course, the cost will double. Therefore, the specific use of active silicon powder or ordinary silicon powder depends on the specific situation.

7. The purpose is different

At present, there are too many areas where silicon powder can be used. Plastics, silicone fluororubber, coating ink, fiber, ceramic plate, flame retardant refractory, adhesive, casting gypsum powder. Different specifications of silicon powder are needed in different fields.
