Introduction to the Processing Technology of Molten Silicon Micropowder

 China is rich in siliceous raw material resources, including crystal, translucent and milky white vein quartz, metamorphic Quartzite, sedimentary quartz sandstone, and silty quartz. In order to meet the requirements of raw materials for silicon powder, some types of siliceous raw materials must undergo beneficiation and purification to meet quality standards before they can be used for processing silicon powder.

  Mineral processing and purification generally involve crushing, screening, and grinding siliceous raw materials with high impurity content to fully dissociate silica from impurities. In actual production, purification is carried out according to the required quality. Either through flotation and magnetic separation to remove impurities, or through water washing and grading to remove impurities, or through acid washing to remove impurities, after drying, it is used as the raw material for silicon powder.

 Molten silicon micropowder, also known as amorphous silicon micropowder or amorphous silicon micropowder. The raw material of fused silica powder produced by crushing, grinding, and grading methods is fused quartz.

First, break the siliceous raw material into small pieces of 10-20mm, use the stacking acid leaching method to remove surface impurities, and then rinse with clean water before drying. Put clean and dry small pieces of material into the smelting quartz furnace and connect the power supply of the silicon carbide rod; After being melted at high temperature (1800~2000 ℃) for about 10 hours, it is quenched and crushed out of the furnace. After manual selection, it is purified and pickled, deacidified, and cleaned with deionized water. After drying, it becomes the raw material for amorphous silicon powder.
